My fashion sense is incomparable

"I love your outfit today! Where did you get that top?"

"Wow, your bag is so chic! Great choice!"

"This leather jacket suits you so well!"

...

I've been hearing these compliments every day since junior high, and now I'm already a working slave. The only difference is that back then, my dad helped me pick out my clothes, and now I'm making decisions for my own wardrobe.

We have to admit, what can a 15-year-old girl really know about fashion? But surprisingly, I had a vague sense of aesthetics and colors. Under my dad's influence, I started to realize that dark colors, especially black, brown, and dark blue, suit me better than light colors. I also learned that wide-leg pants should be paired with tight tops to balance out the puffy look of the lower body. Moreover, we should be aware of the strengths and weaknesses of our physique and try to use the magic of clothes to highlight our strengths and downplay our weaknesses. For example, I have curvy legs, so instead of choosing tight pants or jeans, I should stick to wide-leg ones or long dresses that can cover up any flaws and visually elongate the proportion of my legs.

I have to say that this natural gift for fashion has had a huge positive impact on my confidence and self-awareness.

My natural sense of fashion awakened in junior high, and I have to thank my parents for that because it is something I was born with.
